TALES FROM THE CRYPT#13
I've just finished with the art for this issue, which I believe comes out in October. So if you're reading this, please buy a copy! Or better yet but a hundred copies and give them out on Halloween instead of candy. Or in addition to candy.
Rick Parker is
probably best known as the artist of MTV's Beavis and Butt-Head Comic Book. I was also on staff at Marvel Comics for many years and did lettering and production work in the 1970's and 1980's. Currently drawing the Introductory pages featuring the Old Witch, The Vault Keeper and the Crypt Keeper for Jim Salicrup's new release of Tales From The Crypt published by PaperCutz. I also write and draw a morbidly humorous web comic called "Deadboy", which follows the adventures of a troubled but misunderstood youth as he fights his way across a surrealistic, nightmarish landscape inhabited by violence-prone zombies and all manner of other creatures too numerous to mention. Recently began illustrating all-new stories by The King of Autobiographical Comics, America's very own, HARVEY PEKAR. The results of which may be viewed for free on SMITH MAGAZINE's Web Comic Collective. http://www.smithmag.net/pekarproject/

Good News: The Graphic Novel version of this comic became the #2 best-selling book for Kids on Amazon's list for 2009.
